Festival 2024 : a feast of entertainment
The eagerly awaited first season for Justin Audibert as Artistic Director, 2024's Festival at Chichester Festival Theatre offers an impressive array of entertainment including world premieres and enthralling drama as well as one of the all-time favourite musicals; a brand new production of Lionel Bart’s much-loved musical Oliver!, directed and choreographed by Matthew Bourne, in a new revision by Cameron Mackintosh.
The season kicks off with The Other Boleyn Girl , based on the novel by Philippa Gregory, bringing the intrigue of Henry VIII's Tudor court to the stage captivating the audience with the dramatic events that changed the course of English history.
Coram Boy, a moving whirlwind of an adventure encompassing angels and abandoned children, glorious music and murder most foul set in 18th century England.
Promising to be one of the most unforgettable shows ever at the Festival Theatre, a spectacular new production of Lionel Bart’s iconic musical, Oliver! has been fully reconceived especially for CFT by director and choreographer Matthew Bourne and Cameron Mackintosh. One not to be missed!
