This foodie-heaven is jam-packed with noteworthy places where you can sample Sussex fare, including its wine.

Sussex is increasingly making a name for itself as the capital of English wine with a selection of small, local vineyards making award-winning wines winning rave reviews from the wine critics.

Eating at our Sussex Vineyards

Increasingly, you can have coffee, lunch or dinner at one of our vineyards. Ashling Park offers lunch, dinner or just a coffee. Tinwood offers afternoon tea or tapas style small plates, which you can choose to eat in the Tasting Room or as a vineyard picnic, with a glass of Sussex in hand. Wiston's restaurant, Chalk, uses local and seasonal produce from the estate and its neighbours. Kinsbrook has a laid back eatery and farm shop. Upperton's Terrace Bar and Roebuck's The View is open for a Friday evening glass of wine overlooking the magnificent view of the Downs. So, come on down and enjoy a taste of the Sussex good life at any one of our wonderful vineyards.

Sussex Wine: a Protected Destination of Origin

Did you know, Sussex Wine has its own PDO (a Protected Destination of Origin)? Now firmly holding its place on the map, Sussex Wine joins the likes of Jersey Royal Potatoes and Cornish Clotted Cream, for example, which already have this recognition

It goes without saying that to enjoy some of the wines which have helped to put Sussex on the map, the vineyards are the place to be.

They can be found dotted around the countryside close to Chichester, Midhurst and Petworth.
