Selsey Bathing Water deemed 'Excellent'

Selsey’s bathing water has met the 'Excellent' standard, according to Southern Water, based on the results of water quality testing carried out by the Environment Agency during the 2019 bathing season. Southern Water has been working in close partnership with Chichester District Council, Selsey Town Council and others, putting in place a range of interventions. These include measures to help prevent dog fouling on/near the beach -a key factor which can badly impact bathing water quality- and investing in a new storm-water storage sewer and improving local wastewater pumping stations. Christmas Market returns to Chichester

Chichester will once again host a fantastic, nine-day Christmas Market which will see an array of stalls lining North Street and East Street from 7th– 15th December 2019. The market will be an opportunity for visitors to pick up some unique Christmas gifts, festive groceries and tipples.
