22nd June 2018 8:00 - 30th September 2018 17:00
Chichester Cathedral's summer exhibition is an invitation for the viewer to pause at a series of thresholds. Diane Maclean is an internationally-renowned sculptor whose exhibition, Thresholds, will run from Friday 22nd June to Sunday 30th September 2018.
This fascinating exhibition will showcase a number of large stainless steel sculptures, several of which have been created especially for this event. The sculptures will be sited both inside - and outside - the Cathedral and will incorporate light, colour and a sense of motion to draw the viewer in. The shape and form of the sculptures, one a series of open frames, another a bird's wing, will invite us to explore the potential for transformation, and making crossings, in our own lives.
The exhibition is free to view.
