Medmerry Nature Reserve is the result of one of Europe’s largest managed coastal realignment schemes.  Medmerry’s new intertidal wildlife habitats have become a haven for wildlife including birds of prey and many types of wetland birds.  This is a place for adventure: explore the many footpaths and cycle tracks that are always open, and see many different types of wildlife from waders and wildfowl, linnets and finches, and many more who to come to feed off the plants, invertebrates and fish living in the mudflats.
